friends
it’s funny how God works through relationships. over a short period of time, some friends become more distant while others grow closer to your heart.
idk if i really like this trade off though. why can’t i just keep them all?
pictures of snow :)
snowsnowsnow
the arrival of snow to my gothic little campus has really shown me something. we’re all kids on the inside :) i wish i had my camera to capture charles’s excitement, but he was like…. a hyper little kid with a whole new world of toys
everyone on campus smiled at each other and we just stood outside taking pictures of our wonderland becoming much more white.

anxiety
Usually, I’m a pretty good sleeper. After a day of class, people, work, homework, bed is the best thing that could happen. Yesterday, I couldn’t fall asleep because when I’m really excited or apprehensive about an event (not tests but more non everyday type of things like traveling across the world or something like that), I can’t sleep. So last night, the last images in my...
God is on my side
Today’s one of those days where everything I wanted to do worked out better than I imagined. I was able to change my ticket schedule to accommodate the DUKE UNC GAMEEEEE with no monetary consequences. I emailed a doctor to get back in touch with him. I finished everything on my to-do list. Had dinner with Dan and kind of Charles for the first and only time this week. I made an appointment to...
classes!
Haven’t updated tumblr in awhileeeee, but I’m really excited about my classes.
I already love how they’re making me think, and the much lowered amount of work in comparison to science classes is such a nice break. At the same time, I do miss doing recitation problem sets and other problems and readings from my science class, but I’m really enjoying this whole new balance...
I’ve noticed that each time that I’m at home for a prolonged period of time, I come back walking a lot faster than other students.
Maybe it’s the whole Northerner rush to get everything done type of deal… but it’s really interesting!
lomography + polaroids = :)
quiet
When I’m alone, I’m never actually alone. I try to have some noise playing in the background or I’m thinking about ways to reach into civilization. I think I enjoy watching TV so much because when I was younger, I was alone so much that the only company I had was the TV. Now that I’m older and more accustomed to being alone and the gratifications from it, I still...
back to school

a new decade
Y2K was 10 years ago?????
That’s beyond strange. So much has changed this decade. Puberty happened. Graduations of all sorts—elementary, middle, and high school. SATs and ACTs. PROM? HOMECOMING? College decisions. Meeting God again and falling completely in love with Him. Exams and more exams. First boyfriend come and gone with many lessons learned and a new friendship. Many many more...
