God and His ability to speak to me and reach out to me even when I want to be left alone
A family who loves me and cares for me more than I can imagine, who dotes on me and prays for me even while I’m hundreds of miles away
Friends who can make me smile through my tears, who humble me when I feel like I’m on top, who listen to me rant and complain until even I’m sick of hearing my voice, who keep me accountable, and who laugh with me at myself
A loving Christian community that continues to nurture and support me despite my flaws and shortcomings
The opportunity to be an RA and becoming friends with people I would never have met otherwise
The opportunity to receive a great public education back in Michigan and the ability to go to school at a place like Duke
God’s provisions for my family to live in a way that most of the world is unable to fathom
